Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with Jungle Gardens Sweet Scent. Because our products are handmade cosmetic items, we maintain strict hygiene and safety standards. Please read our policy regarding returns and refunds carefully.
1. Change of Mind
Due to the personal care nature of our products, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or offer refunds if you change your mind, choose the wrong scent, or no longer want the product. Please review your order carefully before checking out.
2. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
We take great care in crafting and packing your items. However, if your order arrives damaged, faulty, or is not what you ordered, we will put it right in accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
  • What to do: Email us at jungle.gardens2025@gmail.com  within 7 days of receiving your package.
  • What to include: Your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos of the damaged or incorrect item.
  • The remedy: If the item is confirmed faulty or damaged, we will provide a replacement or a full refund (including any shipping costs) at no extra charge to you.
3. Allergic Reactions and Skin Sensitivity
We want you to love your skincare experience. Because everyone’s skin is unique, we cannot offer refunds for products that simply do not suit your skin type or cause a personal reaction, provided the product ingredients were accurately listed on our website.
  • Prevention: Please read the full ingredient list online before purchasing to check for personal allergens. We highly recommend performing a 24-hour patch test on a small area of skin before full use.
  • Support: If you experience an unexpected adverse reaction, please discontinue use immediately and email us. We appreciate your feedback and want to support you.



Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
