These soapy sponges are made to order because the vanillin in the fragrance will gradually turn the soap brown over time. It might not stay the prettiest sponge in your bathroom, but that colour change is purely cosmetic. It does not affect the soapy sponge or how it performs, just its appearance.

How to use and care for your sponge

Wet under running water and gently squeeze to build a creamy lather. Massage over your body, then rinse your skin thoroughly. Your sponge may feel a little firm for the first couple of uses; it will soften and loosen with use.

After use, gently squeeze out excess water and leave to dry away from direct water contact between showers to help it last longer.
